About South Sudan Hope Network (SSHN)

We are a 501c3 non-profit based in Annapolis, Maryland founded by two former “Lost Boys of Sudan”.

Our mission is to provide support to those whose lives have been affected by war and continue to be affected by the devastation in the world’s youngest country, South Sudan.

South Sudan is experiencing a humanitarian crisis of epic levels. This network was envisioned as a channel to bring hope to those most affected by people who are able to speak directly to the needs on the ground in South Sudan.

Our goal is to create hope for people in the most tragic circumstances by working with villages in South Sudan to develop sustainable projects such as school buildings and wells.

Our vision is a collaborative network that assists in providing resources in order to effect change. We work directly with the villages, the village provide the manpower.

As an organization we are involved in providing for the basic needs of those most impacted by war. Events and fundraising activities are all geared toward meeting these needs and righting the greatest wrong to children and families in the areas of impact.
