The Village of PAnpandiar, South Sudan
The school building structure was started by the Food for Hunger program in 2015, however the villagers were told that no additional funds would be provided and that they must complete the compound on their own.
Financing this undertaking by people who have only recently returned home from displaced camps is all but impossible without help from outside.
Our community here in America is working in concert with members of the village to build a functional school for the children impacted by the devastation of war in their hometown. Through our concerted efforts the school is now a walled, protected environment serving both boys and girls in a co-education opportunity building setting.
Our next initiatives are supportive of maintaining and protecting the school and include:
